Select Specialty Hospital Grand Rapids is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN shifts on the 5th floor at Corewell Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. Pay is $22/hour with competitive night/weekend differentials. The role involves patient bathing, rounds, transport support, and maintaining equipment and rooms.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related experience) and hospital NA experience. BLS must be completed within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Bath patients using basin-less bath products and assist with oral hygiene and feeding
• Perform hourly rounds
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs and related equipment
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly
• Restock supplies on the unit as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned
