Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking a patient care assistant to support licensed staff and perform nursing functions as needed. The role focuses on indirect patient care and ensuring patient safety on the unit.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, room preparation, supply restocking, and adherence to hospital policies. Candidates should have a high school diploma, BLS CPR, and healthcare experience or current STNA/candidate status.

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current BLS CPR certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in healthcare setting: direct or non-direct patient care, STNA, or student in healthcare major.
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
• Strong technology, typing, and computer skills.
• Positive, service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to care for patients across age groups per unit policies.
