Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in a hospital unit. You will assist with personal care, transfers, and monitoring, while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include pre/post-op care, vital signs documentation, and effective communication with the healthcare team. Prior CNA experience and ability to work in a fast-paced setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily activities as appropriate for the unit.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and post-mortem care as needed.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and transport of patients.
• Document intake/output, vital signs, and other monitoring data accurately.
