UF Health in The Villages, FL invites you to join the Observation Unit as a Nursing Assistant. Work alongside nurses to provide patients with comfort, assistance, and support throughout their care.

Under the supervision of the Director/Manager and RNs, you will perform basic physical care, nursing procedures, and help maintain a clean, safe patient environment. English proficiency and BLS certification preferred. This PRN position offers day shifts and teamwork with a dedicated nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-high-school specialized training preferred.
• Florida CNA license preferred; BLS required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic physical care and nursing procedures under supervision.
• Assist with comfort measures for patients and maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Work with the Observation Unit team to support direct patient care and patient comfort.
