Job summary

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital in Central Florida seeks a Nursing Assistant to support the Medical Unit with direct patient care. Under supervision of RNs, you’ll perform basic nursing procedures, assist with comfort measures and help keep a clean, safe environment.

This part-time role offers two 12-hour day shifts per week, requires a high school diploma or GED, and BLS; CNA license is preferred.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.

Work Information

• Department: Medical Unit
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM | Two 12-hour shifts per week
• Status: Part-Time | 24 hours/week
• Role Focus: Direct patient care, basic physical care, comfort measures and maintaining a safe and organized patient environment

Join our Medical Unit team and work alongside nurses and other clinical professionals to provide compassionate, hands-on care and support to patients throughout their hospital stay.

Licensure & Certification
