Job summary

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Observation team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and help enhance the care and experience for patients and families.

The position features a .6 FTE with rotating day and evening shifts and every other weekend. State MN Nursing Assistant Registry active or be an LPN student/junior nursing student with first quarter clinicals.

Qualifications

• Must be current on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry or be an LPN student or Jr. level nursing student with first quarter clinicals.
• CPR skills preferred.
• Valid RN/LPN program affiliation may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Support care and experience for patients and families as part of Observation team.
• Rotating day and evening shifts with every other weekend on .6 FTE.

Required Qualifications: All candidates must be current on the State of Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry OR be an LPN student or a Jr. level nursing student, which means completion of first quarter clinicals with an accredited RN or LPN program.

Preferred Qualifications: Currently validated CPR skills preferred
