Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation, a joint venture with Select Medical, seeks a Nursing Assistant for the Irving, TX inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This full-time night-shift position runs 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with a minimum hourly pay of $18.0.

Responsibilities include vital signs, patient hygiene, meal delivery, mobility assistance, and patient transport. Requires a high school diploma/GED and BLS within 90 days; CNA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of relevant work experience acceptable.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• CNA certification or hospital experience as a nursing assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Deliver meals and snacks; assist patients who cannot feed themselves and document intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients safely; participate in mobility program.
• Transport patients to designated areas and treatment centers.

Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience.
