Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Springfield is hiring a Nursing Assistant to support post-ICU recovery patients in Springfield, Missouri. This full-time night shift role offers competitive hourly pay ($17.64-$21.50) and a $3,500 sign-on bonus, along with career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include bathing, oral care, hourly rounds, patient transport assistance, and maintaining clean rooms and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
