Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or certification as a nursing assistant or experience in related field (medical assistant).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care for patients.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving patients.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
