Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care needs in a St. Cloud facility. You will perform delegated patient care and non-patient tasks, aiding the patient care team while following established policies and procedures.

Roles include interaction with patients newborn through adolescence and collaboration with families and coworkers. The position is part-time (48 hours every two weeks) on day shift (8am-5pm) in St. Cloud, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as Nursing Assistant (NA), Patient Care Assistant (PCA), or Health/Hospice Aide required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; training class completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient care team in treatment and care of patients.
• Support patient safety practices and family-centered care.
• Adhere to established policies and unit standards to provide quality care.

Job description

A Nursing Assistant supports patient care needs by performing delegated patient care and non-patient care tasks. Responsible for assisting patient care team in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures and unit standards to provide quality patient care. Patients cared for range in age from newborn through adolescence. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with coworkers.

Schedule:

• Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
• Day shift | Working hours between 8am-5pm
• No weekends or holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $18.77 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.
  • Pay range:$18.77 - $28.16 per hour
