Crouse’s Neuroscience Unit consists primarily of patients with a diagnosis of stroke, however many of the patients have diagnoses related to respiratory, cardiac, diabetic and renal issues. The Neuroscience team is hiringaNursing Assistant.

TheNursing Assistantperforms daily care activities to help achieve the goals of the patient care plan as directed by the Registered Professional Nurse.

Pay Range:$20.15-$26.92/hour (based on experience).

Rotating Schedule:

• Assists the patient with daily care activities including but not limited to bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulating, personal hygiene andtaking of vital signs.
• Supports and actively contributes to the achievement of the patient's goals associated with the plan of care.
• Individualizes communication based on the needs of the patients and families.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must haveone yearof patient care experience, or is currently attending an accredited Registered Nursing program and has successfully completed the fundamentals of nursing coursework.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire date.
