Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support the Neuroscience & Stroke Unit. You will collect patient data, assist with daily living activities, and help with treatments under RN direction.

Experience is not required, and on-the-job training is provided. This position is day shift with a focus on reliable, patient-centered care in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant program preferred.
• No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene.
• Take and record vital signs; report questionable values.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens and deliver to appropriate department.
• Document in EMR accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, supply areas and equipment.
• Perform point-of-care testing as trained and delegated by RN.
• Assist with admissions by greeting and orienting patient and family.
