Select Specialty Hospital - Battle Creek is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) - PRN for both day and night shifts on the 6th floor of Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. Hours are 7:00 am–7:00 pm or 7:00 pm–7:00 am, with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour and shift differentials of $2.00 for nights and $1.75 for weekends.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required or 3+ years of related experience.
• Certification as Nursing Assistant or hospital experience preferred.
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Assist patients with bathing and hygiene routines.
• Assist with oral hygiene and feeding as needed.
• Care for hair and grooming of patients.
• Participate in hourly rounds to monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with wheelchairs/stretchers as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and medical equipment.
• Restock supplies and maintain unit stock as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Nursing Assistant (NA) - PRN Both Shifts

Hours: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Pay: $24.00 per hour

$2.00 shift differentials for nights and $1.75 for weekends

• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
