The Cleveland Clinic Rehab Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is hiring a Nursing Assistant in Beachwood, OH. This full-time position offers 12-hour shifts and a pay of $17.75-$21.94 per hour plus a $7,500 night shift or $5,000 day shift sign-on bonus.

You will support inpatient rehabilitation patients with basic care, vital signs, meals, mobility, and daily activities as part of a compassionate team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS (or completion within 90 days of hire) is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks and documenting oral intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients and participating in mobility program.
• Answering call lights and providing services that support patient well-being.
• Transporting patients to designated areas.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred (maybe required based on some state requirements)
