Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Rehab Hospital in Beachwood, OH is hiring a Nursing Assistant to join our inpatient rehab team. You will assist patients with daily care, monitor vitals, help with meals, mobility, and comfort, and document care under supervision.

Full-time, 12-hour shifts, pay $17.75-$21.94 per hour with a $7,500 night shift or $5,000 day shift sign-on bonus. We offer orientation, PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), life and disability protection, and a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience, CNA certification preferred (maybe required based on some state requirements)
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Nursing assistant certification (preferred)
