Job summary

OhioHealth Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a Nursing Assistant for full-time night shift. Schedule is 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week with every other weekend. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $21.94 per hour, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

BLS required within 90 days; high school diploma or equivalent is expected. Join a joint venture with Select Medical and contribute to care for patients with brain injuries and related conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Deliver meals and snacks and document oral intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients safely and assist in mobility.
• Transport patients to designated areas and treatment centers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
