Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our Night shift team at FMC Main Campus. The role supports patient care under the direction of a Staff RN, performing personal care, vital signs, and basic post-operative support.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, STNA preferred, CPR within six months, and prior nursing assistant experience is preferred. This on-site position offers a $5,000 bonus and opportunities to grow within the clinical

Mansioni

• Provides personal care that includes bathing, feeding, skin and mouth care and changing bed lines.
• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, height and weight.
• Empties patient drainage containers and maintains accurate intake and output records.
• Assists with pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care including positioning, lifting and turning.
• Reports changes observed in condition or behavior of patient.
• Assists with treatment procedures.
• Maintains supplies and reports malfunctioning equipment.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.STNA preferred.
• CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE within the first six months of employment.
• Nursing assistant experience preferred.

Must be able to physically exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work. Position may require frequent patient handling activity.
