Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Night Shift Nursing Assistant for a part-time position (.60). You will provide essential personal care, monitor vital signs, and assist with pre- and post-operative care while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent (STNA preferred) and CPR certification within six months. Prior nursing assistant experience is preferred. Physical ability to lift and move patients is required.

Job Description

• Assists with pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care which includes, positioning, lifting and turning.
• Reports changes observed in condition or behavior of patient.
• Assists with treatment procedures.
• Assists in maintaining supplies and reports malfunctioning equipment.
• Remains compliant with HIPAA, maintains professionalism and ensures confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. STNA preferred.
• CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE within the first six months of employment.
• Nursing assistant experience preferred.

Must be able to physically exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work. Position may require frequent patient handling activity.
