Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department to assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

This is a full-time, day shift position requiring a current CNA certificate (preferred) and BLS; six months' acute care experience preferred. Competitive benefits and total rewards.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.


2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.


3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.


4. Minimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.30 to $22.07. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
