Fairview Health Services is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Ridges Hospital in Burnsville on the Med-Surg Oncology unit. The role is a .75 FTE with 60 hours per 2-week pay period, involving 12-hour night shifts and every third weekend rotation.
You will support licensed nurses with direct patient care and essential unit tasks on a busy inpatient unit. Responsibilities include patient grooming, feeding, hygiene, mobility, documentation, and equipment handling.

Responsibilities:
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting the professional nurse/caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and the reordering and stocking of supplies. The Nursing Assistant does not work autonomously but works under the direction of a professional nurse. The Nursing Assistant may be given a patient care assignment based on unit needs and the discretion of the manager/charge nurse.
