Job summary

Sanford Health in Mayville, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant for straight night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with a 36-hour week. The position offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive nursing team.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring patient safety under RN/LPN supervision. Prior CNA experience is preferred, and completion of required state registry is expected within four months

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• CNA is preferred and maintains department-specific competencies and certifications.
• If working in ND or MN, must be on the NA Registry within four months from date of hire.

The Mayville Medical Center has a full time opening for a straight nights Nursing Assistant.

This is a rewarding position providing care to a variety of patients while working with an experienced nursing staff.

Hours are 7:00pm - 7:00am with every third weekend and a rotation of holidays required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
• If working in North Dakota (ND) or Minnesota (MN) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the NA Registry as a Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Dept. of Health or through the Minnesota Dept. of Health within four months from the date of hire.
• If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or a student nurse, currently enrolled at a school approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing, who has completed a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.
