Job summary

The Nursing Assistant position at Mayville Medical Center is a full-time, straight night role (7:00pm–7:00am) on a 36-hour work week, with every third weekend and holiday rotation. You will provide compassionate patient care under RN/LPN supervision and help with daily living activities.

We seek reliable individuals who can monitor patient conditions, communicate changes, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for healing. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required. CNA certification is preferred. The candidate must obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications. If working in ND or MN and not CNA, must be on the NA Registry within four months of hire.
• If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or be a student nurse with approved nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.

Department Details: The Mayville Medical Center has a full time opening for a straight nights Nursing Assistant. This is a rewarding position providing care to a variety of patients while working with an experienced nursing staff.

Hours are 7:00pm - 7:00am with every third weekend and a rotation of holidays required.

Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. The NA provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

• If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or a student nurse, currently enrolled at a school approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing, who has completed a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.
