Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a RN licensed and able to practice in Maryland; BLS CPR required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; at least 1 year in elderly/long-term care.
• Minimum 16 hours of instruction in Principles of Adult Education OR 2 years teaching.
• Ability to teach theory, lab and clinical instruction to adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing assistant courses including theory, lab and clinical instruction.
• Assist with lab setup, inventory and cleaning of practice lab.
• Maintain course and student records and submit to MBON as indicated.
• Coordinate with Maryland Board of Nursing and ensure compliance.
