Summary of Job Duties:The Nursing Assistant Instructor assures the adequate preparation of students for the Arkansas Nurse Aid Exam in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Office of Long-Term Care. Responsibilities include participating in lesson planning, classroom/lab/clinical instruction, supervision of additional instructors, and recordkeeping.Qualifications:

• Be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in Arkansas, licensed under a compact license
• Not be under any current disciplinary action by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing
• Possess a minimum of two (2) years' general nursing experience as a registered nurse including at least one (1) year of long-term care nursing services in a nursing facility setting within the last five (5) years
• Travel is required
