Salt Lake Community College seeks an adjunct CNA instructor to deliver hands-on clinical skills training and didactic coursework for the Nursing Assistant program. Faculty will adapt to varied teaching situations and work with students, staff, and colleagues in a campus climate that values professionalism and multicultural understanding.

The role involves teaching in scheduled classes, hybrid learning, and off-site clinical rotations, with shifts across a Monday–Saturday week from 6am to 11pm,

Formación

• RN or LPN licensed in Utah in good standing with DOPL.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, with at least 1 year in LTC or elderly care.
• Willingness to complete UNAR Train the Trainer program or already completed.
• Must meet UNAR CNA instructor approval within 1 month of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Hands‑on instruction of CNA clinical skills as outlined by NAPP and UNAR.
• Didactic instruction in scheduled classes and/or hybrid environments.
• Demonstrate clinical competence in nursing assistant care.
• Follow established curriculum and clinical assessments.
• Supervise small groups of up to 12 nursing assistant students with facility CNAs in clinical settings.
• Monitor, evaluate and document student attendance and progress.
