Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant for an inpatient setting at Marsh Med Ctr. The role supports patient-centered care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, with a part-time schedule and varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
• If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a CNA, must be on the ND Nurse Aide Registry within 4 months of employment.
• If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or be a student nurse with 16 hours of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN or LPN supervision.
• Record vital statistics, glucose levels, and other health information.
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare.
• Prepare and clean patient treatment and living areas, and medical equipment.
• Dispose of biomedical waste per standards and policy.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our family in an inpatient setting. A Nursing Assistant provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and is essential to keeping the unit functioning smoothly. • Dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy

Qualifications

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment. If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or a student nurse, currently enrolled at a school approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing, who has completed a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.
