Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our inpatient team at Marsh Med Ctr in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The role involves patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision, helping with daily living activities, and supporting patients through their care journey.

The position offers part-time scheduling, varied shifts, and opportunities for professional growth. A CNA is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required or preferred depending on state requirements.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
• If working in ND, must be on the ND Nurse Aide Registry within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating, while supporting emotional and spiritual needs
• Record vital statistics, blood glucose levels, and other basic health information
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare
• Prepare and clean patient treatment areas, living areas, and medical equipment
• Dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy

Job Summary

We’re looking for a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our family in an inpatient setting. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment.
