Job summary

Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our inpatient team. You will provide patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a welcoming, supportive environment for patients and families.

This part-time role involves daytime hours 0630-1500 with every third weekend and alternating holidays, offering opportunities for growth and professional development within a team-focused, mission-driven health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred with required competencies.
• If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a CNA, must be on the ND Nurse Aide Registry after training/competency validation or within four months of initial employment.
• If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with work eligibility or be a student nurse with basic nursing coursework and 16 hours of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating, while supporting emotional and spiritual needs.
• Record vital statistics, blood glucose levels, and other basic health information.
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare.
• Prepare and clean patient treatment areas, living areas, and medical equipment.
• Dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy.

Job Summary

If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment.

If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or a student nurse, currently enrolled at a school approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing, who has completed a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.
