Job summary

Corewell Health's Troy Emergency Center is seeking a patient-focused nursing assistant to support the infusion unit and provide essential care in a fast-paced setting.

Under RN direction, you will assist with patient care, documentation, and safe transport, with opportunities for observation duties as required. This part-time position supports a day shift schedule in the Troy/Farmington Hills area.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Safely transports patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services.
• Provides the services of an Observer for any patient on a patient care unit who requires constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring.
