Description

The Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) is a temporary position designed to prepare individuals to successfully pass the Minnesota Nursing Assistant competency exam. As an NAIT, you will perform duties similar to a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) once deemed competent through specific training. After completing the 75-hour NATCEP course, you will take and pass both the MN state skills and knowledge exams. You are allowed three attempts for the skills portion and four for the knowledge portion. You must be on the MN state registry within 4 months of hire. Upon passing both exams, you can apply internally for a CNA position at your current facility.
