Position Summary

The NAIT is a temporary position designed to prepare individuals to pass the Minnesota Nursing Assistant competency exam. Responsibilities are similar to a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) once deemed competent. After completing the 75-hour NATCEP course, you will take and pass both MN state exams. You have three attempts for the skills exam and four for the knowledge exam. You must be on the MN state registry within 4 months of hire. After passing, you can apply internally for a CNA position at your current facility.
