Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of nursing assistant work experience within the past five years may substitute for the listed trainings.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination, and nutrition.
• Provides routine treatments and maintains a clean, safe patient environment.
• Ensures patient privacy, rights, and confidentiality.
• Performs admissions, transfers, and discharges under supervision.
• Takes vital signs and records data as directed.
• Transports items and medications throughout the facility.
• Participates in handoff reports and hourly rounding.
• Maintains a clean, organized nursing unit and adheres to safety policies.
