RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for the Medical Surgical Unit III at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The role supports RNs in providing hands-on care, daily living activities, and vital signs monitoring in a fast-paced unit.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma or GED, has current BLS, and CNA certification or related clinical experience; part-time 7:00am–3:00pm shifts with every other weekend and some holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED and current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program; CNA certificate preferred.
• Part-time day schedule from 7:00am to 3:00pm with every other weekend and some holidays.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with daily living activities and provide nursing care including vital signs.
• Monitor vital signs and track patient health status.
• Document patient information in EHR with confidentiality.
• Support infection control and collaborate with nurses to coordinate care plans.
