Responsibilities include maintaining patient safety, privacy, and comfort, assisting with admissions/discharges, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year nursing assistant experience within past five years.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination, and nutrition.
• Provide routine treatments and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; follow standard precautions.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Take and record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Communicate patient status to RN and team members.
• Participate in handoff reports and hourly rounding.
