Job summary

Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover, DE is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for the PCU Day Shift. The role provides primary bedside care under supervision, assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, and patient comfort on a telemetry step-down unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with CNA-related training, verifiable via transcript.
• Active CNA certification in DE or another state.
• 1+ year direct patient care experience preferred; see job details.

Responsibilities

• Follow nursing assistant plan of care including ADLs, vital signs, and documenting care.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient age; maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate patient information to a licensed nurse promptly and accurately.
• Assist other nursing team members and departments as needed.
