Job summary

Guthrie Nursing Assistant – Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) in Towanda, PA, seeks caring individuals to provide direct resident care under nursing supervision. You’ll assist with daily living, support care plans, and help maintain resident comfort, dignity, and independence in a safe setting.

The role is full-time with day shifts, weekend/holiday rotations, competitive pay, and growth opportunities within Guthrie; a $5,000 sign-on bonus may apply if eligible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification required within 120 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to assure resident comfort.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and meals.
• Participate in team conferences and care planning.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist feeding.
• Maintain residents' rights and safety.
• Make rounds, respond to call lights, and report changes.
