Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our full-time day-shift team. Work is 12-hour day shifts, with direct supervision by an RN and a focus on patient care across age groups.

Qualifications

• MOAB I/II within 30 to 150 days of hire for employees in Emergency Dept., 2T, and PARC only.
• Satisfactory completion of training for Nursing Assistants.
• CNA certificate, Graduate of accredited CNA program, or demonstrated equivalency (such as experience as a corpsman, EMT, foreign-licensed RN or MD), completion of accredited Nursing Program
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care to patients, under direct supervision of RN; assists RN in observation and care of patients in assigned area(s).
• Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics).

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.67.
