Job summary

The Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System seeks one Nursing Assistant to provide basic care for Veterans across acute and chronic conditions. You will assist nursing staff, monitor patient needs, support daily living activities, and help create a safe, supportive environment for Veterans.

Responsibilities include using glucose monitoring and other basic care tools under RN supervision, maintaining therapeutic relationships, and documenting observations as part of a coordinated care team.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide basic patient care and assist nursing staff.
• Ability to observe patient status and report to RN.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and health professionals.
