Job summary

Methodist Hospital, part of HealthPartners, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Float Pool. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision in a fast-paced setting across multiple units.

This is an overnight, 0.8 FTE position with eight-hour shifts and every-other weekend. Current Minnesota CNA registry or being an LPN student, or a Jr nursing student with first-quarter clinicals is required; CPR skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be current on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry or an LPN/Jr nursing student with first-quarter clinicals.
• CPR skills are preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced float pool across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Float to multiple units including neurology, ortho, oncology, med-surg, ICU, and telemetry.
• Participate in a fast-paced environment with varied assignments.

Job Description

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Float Pool team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:The Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, utilizing their skill and expertise to complement other health care providers. No prior experience needed. Candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment that has a lot of variety. Units that candidate will float to include: neurology, ortho, oncology, med-surg/ surgical, ICU/critical care, cardiac telemetry, and observation.

Work Schedule: 0.8 FTE, Overnight 8-hour shifts & every other weekend

Required Qualifications: All candidates must be current on the State of Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry OR be an LPN student or a Jr. level nursing student, which means completion of first quarter clinicals with an accredited RN or LPN program.

Preferred Qualifications:Currently validated CPR skills preferred
