Job summary

The Tampa VA is hiring a Nursing Assistant who will complete basic nursing duties under close supervision in outpatient, inpatient, home or community living care, and acute/sub-acute care.

The NA will care for patients/residents with acute to chronic conditions and deliver fundamental, knowledge-based care while developing technical competence in multiple vacancies (CLC-C unit and Hospice).

Qualifications

• Six months of general experience or education above high school or an occupational course meeting the NA requirements.
• English language proficiency in spoken and written form per VA standards.
• Citizenship and grandfathering provisions as applicable for VA employment.
