Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Wyandotte is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our day shift team on the 8th floor of Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. You will provide compassionate, hands-on patient care to critically ill individuals in a dedicated recovery setting.

This full-time role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus, pay up to $24.24 per hour based on experience, and competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks such as bathing using basin-less products and assisting with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Assist in hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas and assist with movement of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms, beds, and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
