Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is hiring Nursing Assistants. The role supports physicians and delivers compassionate patient care across a range of medical conditions.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification; CT nurse aide training preferred. Multiple schedules available including day, night, and 36-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; nurse aide training preferred or in progress.
• Evidence of college transcript or significant healthcare experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience as Nursing Assistant in acute care preferred.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Collect and report patient information and data.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide patient transport support.
• Collect specimens as needed.
• Distribute linens and supplies to patient rooms.
• Deliver ice and beverages to patients.
• Monitor at-risk patients for safety as assigned.
