Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Temple, TX is hiring a Nursing Assistant (PCT) for full-time day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You will support inpatient care, assist with personal care, meals, vital signs, and patient mobility while documenting observations.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of experience) and BLS within 90 days of hire. Preferred candidates have hospital experience or CNA-related certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Deliver meals and snacks and document oral intake.
• Turn, position, and mobilize immobile patients with proper body alignment.
• Transport patients to designated areas and treatment centers.
