Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in Minnesota. You will assist with hygiene, nutrition, comfort, vital signs, and documentation, while helping maintain a safe, clean environment to support healing.

The role requires completion of a nurse aide training program, state registration, and BLS certification or eligibility, with rotations across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months of nursing assistant experience.
• Completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program.
• Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program.
• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry.
• BLS certified or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and comfort under supervision of RN/Manager.
• Assist with personal hygiene and nutritional needs.
• Take vital signs and document accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and promptly report changes in patient condition.
