Job summary
Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living in Keizer, OR is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents under licensed supervision for up to 120 days after program graduation. Responsibilities include reviewing care plans, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining a warm, calm environment while communicating changes to nursing staff.
Requires completion of a Nursing Assistant program and CPR/BLS.
Qualifications
- Graduated from a Nursing Assistant Program in the state where the position is located.
- Must maintain active CPR/BLS during employment.
- Possess passion for caregiving and enhancing residents' quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Check residents routinely to meet personal care needs per their wishes.
- Review care plans daily to reflect changes in routines.
- Inform the nurse supervisor of changes to update the care plan.
- Assist residents with daily needs and transportation to appointments.
- Create a warm, patient, enthusiastic environment.
- Ensure rooms are ready and residents feel comfortable.
- Participate in facility surveys by government agencies.
- Communicate resident information to charge nurses and administrators.
