Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Johnstown, located inside Conemaugh Memorial, seeks a Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) for PRN/per diem nights. Compensation is $19.00/hour plus weekend shift differentials; a sign-on bonus of $1,500 is offered.

The role supports post-ICU recovery patients and includes orientation and potential full-time opportunities over time. Responsibilities include patient bathing, assisting with meals, rounds, transportation, and maintaining cleanliness of rooms and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a CNA or related field desirable.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bath patients using basin-less methods and assist with oral care and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals and equipment.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
