Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) for PRN/Per Diem daytime shifts. Compensation starts at $19.00 per hour with competitive weekend shift differentials and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

The role supports post-ICU recovery patients and involves direct patient care, rounds, and patient transport within Conemaugh Memorial. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (or 3+ years related experience) and hospital CNA experience, with BLS to be completed

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of related work experience.
• Hospital experience as a Nursing Assistant or related field (e.g., medical assistant).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products and providing oral hygiene.
• Assist with oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist transporters.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and equipment.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; maintain unit stock levels.
