Essentia Health in Fosston, Minnesota is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care on a night shift (6:00 pm–6:30 am). The role includes assisting with hygiene, nutrition, and safety, with weekend and holiday rotations.

Very competitive night differentials and a $1,500 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment are offered. Eligible nurses aides must complete a recognized CNA program and be registered or obtain registration within 4 months.

Job Description

Building Location: Essentia Living Center Department: 3073090 NURSING HOME - FS SNF Job Description: Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to serve at Essentia Living Center, our long-term care facility located in Fosston, Minnesota. This CNA works on the night shift - 6:00 pm to 6:30 am. Every 3rd weekend and a holiday rotation are required. Generous evening, night, and weekend shift differentials are available. Straight Night shift diff of $5.50/hour Range of pay: $22.50 - $29.25, final offer is based on level of experience Sign-on bonus eligible - $1,500 with two-year commitment

What You'll Do

Responsible for providing direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and for serving the needs of residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, within the scope of the nursing assistant role. Provides personal hygiene care, assists with providing for nutritional needs; recognizes and deals with the problems of the aging process, recognizes and promptly report changes in resident condition to shift nurse, and maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for the residents. Must be aware of and prevent the abuse of vulnerable adults in the care of the Essentia Health skilled nursing facility. Maintains awareness of safety issues and strives to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner. Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective actions.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications
