Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Weirton is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) for a full-time day shift inside Weirton Medical Center. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $21.33 per hour with weekend differentials and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

The role supports compassionate patient care with orientation, RN scholarship opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and a clinical ladder to advance skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification or related field such as medical assistant or RN student.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing using basin-less products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with movement of patients in stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
