Job summary

Essentia Living Center in Fosston, Minnesota seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to residents on the day shift (6:00 am–2:30 pm) with every other weekend and holiday rotation. This 0.8 FTE role offers generous weekend differentials and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, PTO and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program.
• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtainable within 4 months of hire/transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

This CNA works an average of 12 hours weekly on the am shift, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Every other weekend and a holiday rotation are required. Provides personal hygiene care, assists with providing for nutritional needs; recognizes and deals with the problems of the aging process, recognizes and promptly report changes in resident condition to shift nurse, and maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for the residents. Must be aware of and prevent the abuse of vulnerable adults in the care of the Essentia Health skilled nursing facility. Maintains awareness of safety issues and strives to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner.
